AL-JANA and the Janana network invite you to participate in the Janana
Mobile Spring Festival that will tour marginalized communities engaging
young and old.
The festival includes the following:
Fun hands-on activities promoting conflict transformation & healthy
living, songs for children, clowns & magician show, plays, A
street carnival that engages people of all ages.
Children (8-14) are encouraged to express their issues in creative ways.
The Festival and street carnival will hit the following areas:
Tripoli/ Al-Mina Garden, Beirut/ Sanay’a Garden, Baa’lbeck/ Ras El Ein Garden, Saida/ Meya wa Meya Garden, Tyre/ The Public Park
A number of Lebanese and Palestinian performers, artists and musicians participate in the festival.
Among the unique characteristics of the Spring Festival is the
cooperation between the libraries, organizations, and associations of
civil society in addition to the coordination with schools and local
municipalities.
Janana campaign aims at developing child-friendly libraries and
encouraging active learning and creative expression amongst marginalized
communities in Lebanon.
