'Palestine in the New Cinema" Film Festival

Following the celebration of “Al Quds, the capital of Arab Culture” in 2009, twenty NGOs working among Palestinian community in Lebanon decided together and launch a campaign in Lebanon for Al Quds with multiple cultural activities.

The Palestinian Civil Campaign for Al Quds, the Capital of Arab Culture-Lebanon planned to organize, for one year and a half, drawing competition in schools, competition about Palestine and Al Quds for students, concerts, and a Palestinian Film Festival.

To foster a wider audience (Lebanese and Palestinian) to come and see new Palestinian films

To focus on Al Quds identity and its destruction by the occupation

To foster joint cultural activities between Palestinians and Lebanese

To foster better relationship between Palestinian and Lebanese

The Palestinian Civil Campaign for Al Quds, the Capital of Arab Culture-Lebanon was very keen careful to organize the Palestinian Film Festival in collaboration with Beirut DC and to be part of Ayam Beirut Al Cinema’iya Festival. The Palestinian Civil Campaign for Al Quds, the Capital of Arab Culture-Lebanon would like to thank Beirut DC and hopes that the event will be a success.
