”My Personal Experience”
Areej talked about the making of the film “When they Speak Politic”: Subject, objectives, personal changes. The benefits of participation and ways of interacting. The challenges youth face: prejudgment, underestimation and marginalization, financing, communication with and participation in global events.
Prospects: Suggestions for further development of youth media, hopes for better
circumstances that encourage youth to create films.

Learning with TV? Of course!

Children learn more, when we put the facts in a good story. We have to make things concrete and find a good step into the problem, we want to explain. Don't summarize facts, but find ways to motivate your audience and touch them emotionally.

A short presentation on ways of breaching bureaucratic and institutional boundaries while developing a community project. Using youth multimedia projects as examples to highlight such processes.
