JANA International Film Festival for Children & Youth ( J.I.F.F.C.Y) invites films from all over the world to participate. Applications for feature films, documentaries, animated and children films of any origin are acceptable.

• The 2009 youth & children film festival will display films on and by youth & children under 19 years of age. Preference will be given to films by youth & children, or with their active participation.
  
• The programme J.I.F.F.C.Y shall present various cinematographic views of young people from different cultures. The Film festival aims at creating a forum for exchange & the enrichment of young filmmakers.
  
• JANA International film festival for Children & Youth 2009 takes place in October, 2006 at Madina Theatre – Beirut.
  

• Deadline for submission: Application & a preview videocassette of the films entered for the pre-selection must arrive by May 15, 2009 at the latest.
