This workshop introduced the world of ceramics and the practical techniques used in it. It included seven stages, each stage lasted for two hours. In this workshop the participants were introduced to different hand techniques related to making ceramics. Each of the participants was able to produce an artistic piece in each of the stages. The techniques used were pinching, the disk and the tile technique. The materials used were two kinds of clay: stone clay and terra cotta. The products of the workshop needed to be fired and so will be shown on the first possible occasion. The workshop included a visit to the museum of Dorothy Salhab Kathmy in Roumieh.
