Paper making workshop

• The duration of the workshop was two hours from twelve till two in the afternoon
• Miss Badria Al Osta was the trainer

This workshop was divided into two parts, in the first part the trainees were introduced to the way paper is made by recycling used paper. They learned to tear the papers, soak it, mix it and dry it up using special user friendly tools. In the second part of the workshop the trainees learned to make files, albums and boxes of carton paper and decorate them in an artistic way. The participants of this workshop made picture albums, files and boxes of different shapes using cheap material. The main objective behind this was to develop the abilities of young people to be able to participate effectively in the community in preserving the ecosystem. Recycling papers also aimed at introducing them to the idea of reducing pollution and maintaining trees.
