It feels like many years of life squeezed into 9 days; it's like being on the most intensive trip. Broummana summer encounter is for me an explosion of mind and heart. The personal changes I can observe in some participants, including myself, are just amazing... how little time and incentive it needs to shake some of the most deeply rooted stereotypes and to bring down fears that others have been installing for decades! From his nearby tomb down under the olive trees, Edward Said, the inspirer to many of us up at Broumana encounter, is those days certainly smiling.
